This Privacy Policy explains how Vlad Ciolan (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects and uses your personal information when you visit vladciolan.com, contact me, sign up for emails, download a free resource, or place an order. I am the data controller for the information you provide, and I am based in Bromley, London, United Kingdom.
What I collect
- Enquiries & contact forms: your name, email address, and anything you choose to include (for example your church, role, and message).
- Email sign-ups & free resources: your name (optional) and email address when you join the mailing list or request a free download.
- Orders: when you buy a product, your name, delivery address, phone number and email are collected to fulfil your order. Payment is handled securely by Stripe — I never see or store your full card details.
- Technical data: basic, non-identifying information your browser sends (such as device type), used only to keep the site working and secure.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiries and provide the services you ask for.
- To deliver free resources you have requested.
- To process, fulfil and deliver your orders.
- To send occasional email updates — only if you have asked to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Legal bases
Under UK GDPR, I rely on: your consent (for marketing emails and free downloads); the performance of a contract (to fulfil orders and deliver services you request); and my legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries and keep the site secure).
Who I share it with
I do not sell your information. I share it only with trusted service providers who help run the site, acting on my instructions:
- Stripe — secure payment processing.
- Mailchimp — managing the mailing list and sending emails.
- Resend — delivering enquiry messages to my inbox.
- Vercel — hosting the website.
- A delivery provider — to ship physical orders to you.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as approved contractual clauses) are in place.
Cookies
This site uses only essential, privacy-friendly storage. Your light/dark theme preference is remembered in your own browser. I do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated and your choices respected.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to help you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Order records are kept as required for tax and accounting. Mailing-list data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@vladciolan.com.
Complaints
I hope to resolve any concern directly. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
